Training I Deliver

Learn How to Evaluate and Build Trust in Digital Information

Active Learning Via Visual-Based Knowledge Maps

ScottWhitneyHeadshot-smile-bw-450 My training empowers professionals to navigate the complexities of creating and managing digital information by seeing the problems—and the solutions—with their own eyes.

My approach produces powerful results:

  • People equipped with both the knowledge and the functional, practical tools that empower them to be more effective in their jobs.
  • Professionals better able to communicate, collaborate and cooperate across different disciplines—IT, Compliance, Audit, Legal—with faster results.
  • Continued access to course content stored as on-demand recorded versions of my courses, and course assets.
  • The ability to deliver authoritative and effective training that meets the demanding legal duties for training that are embedded in today’s compliance obligations.

By delivering active learning through visual-based knowledge and process maps, I transform the learning exercise from a compliance drudgery into something that engages and connects to how we live and work in the real world of digital information.

My training works across different disciplines and overcomes the barriers and chasms that so often separate those that must work together in managing digital information. Over 1,400 professionals in the last three years have consistently praised my training—including some of the toughest critics in the world—lawyers and IT professionals. Here’s an example of what clients say about my training.

What I Teach

Navigate
My training courses tackle the biggest problem facing us in a global, wired marketplace: how to navigate—and comply with—all of the business rules, technology rules and legal rules that govern how we create and manage digital information. Doing so can be incredibly hard, and teaching how do to so has been, until now, very difficult.

My training courses are designed for different audiences:

  • Organizational teams (corporate or government), for whom working together across different languages and cultures can be incredibly stressful.
  • Professionals who evaluate, investigate or defend the adequacy of existing systems and processes for managing digital information (lawyers, auditors, examiners).

Each course, whether taught live onsite or online, features the unique, visual maps that transform the class from a passive engagement to a learning experience in which the audience participates in how the content unfolds and develops. The final maps truly are pictures that speak a thousand words (or more!), delivering a permanent, accessible reference portfolio that can be used in direct contact with team members, clients and even those who are adverse parties.
